Hannah Reed

Senior Principal Scientist

Hannah Reed holds a B.S. in Crop Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an M.S. in Plant Pathology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where her graduate research focused on fungal plant pathogen disease cycles and mitigation strategies. She went on to develop high-throughput pathogen assays to characterize microbial candidates for agricultural applications at Boost Biomes before applying her microbiology and fermentation science expertise to help develop beanless coffee products at Compound Foods. As Lab Manager at Centivax, she helps ensure researchers have the tools, resources, and infrastructure needed to focus on scientific discovery.
