Audrey Hanson

Audrey Hanson is an Associate Scientist at Centivax with hands-on experience spanning antiviral therapeutics, molecular diagnostics, and translational research. Before joining Centivax, she advanced programs at Vir Biotechnology focused on novel immunologic therapies for Hepatitis B virus and Respiratory Syncytial virus, and previously helped develop real-time PCR assays and diagnostic instruments for viral hemorrhagic fevers at Cepheid. Audrey began her research career studying yeast genetics and E. coli metabolism at Santa Clara University, where she earned her B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in cell and molecular biology. A former certified EMT with direct patient-care experience, she brings a practical, patient-informed perspective to her work in infectious disease research.
