Alexander Davis

Associate Scientist

Alexander Davis is an Associate Scientist at Centivax, where he supports mRNA vaccine development through cloning, sequencing, mRNA production, and LNP packaging across multiple programs. He designs constructs using computational biology and AI tools and contributes to process development for GMP manufacturing of DNA templates, mRNA, and LNPs.
Alexander has a Master's in Biotechnology from the University of San Francisco and holds a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in Neurology from the University of Oregon. Before joining Centivax, he built a strong foundation in molecular biology and cell culture as a Lab Manager and Lab Scientist at Stanford University's Wang and Kinde Labs, where his work included retinal organoid production, viral vector generation, and plasmid cloning. His research has contributed to five peer-reviewed publications in journals including Cell Reports and Nature Cell Biology. In his free time Alexander enjoys rock climbing, golf, tennis, soccer, skiing, and swimming.
